Awesome! This is exactly the type of thing I don’t need cluttering up your brain if I can just jump into this tool instead. Great work.

“Now I can get rid of my String.Format cheat sheet!” :-( I created that cheat sheet. Kidding of course, this is a great tool.

If you want the cheat sheet, its available here: http://john-sheehan.com/blog/index.php/net-cheat-sheets/

Nice! Might want to include CultureInfo.CurrentCulture in the language pull down (or maybe I missed it?).

Greate idea
looks good
It helps developers a lot
Thanks

Mike,
That’s an excellent suggestion. When developing this tool I’ve been trying to implement it myself.
The problem was that my languages pull down is binded directly to a list of CultureInfo, and CurrentCulture is displayed as all the other languages.

I might fix it, and update this post.

FYI, I was browsing on an old PC and noticed that Silverlight wasn’t installed. The message says “To install: 1 click and no restart”. Actually with FireFox, it’s six clicks and you have to restart the browser. Still simple, but not quite as simple as advertised.

Awesome! is this program at another url where it would be better to bookmark it?

Nice tool (even better being Silverlight!), I’ve linked you at an article on formatting at:

When I click the silverlight, there is a message saying you are linking to an old version of silverlight which should be updated … - the version on my machine is the latest - can’t get to you tool even though i have silverlight

Jonas said in August 30th, 2008 at 1:43 am

Can’t use your tool, it says I don’t have Silverlight but I do and my version is newer then the one you use.

I am having a similar SL issue. Not working for me either.

JF said in September 3rd, 2008 at 10:55 am

Same issue. Tool does not work with Silverlight 1.0 or 2.0 Beta.
